Mercatorio Badges
The leaderboard of Mercatorio is ranked by Legacy which is obtained by achieving and keeping your Prestige high. This is where the main competition between the most powerful players takes place. But even these players can’t cover all the aspects of the game, and through specialization and focus more casual players can carve out a niche in the economy and become the leading producer of key materials.
Top producers
Every product in the game has its own ranking of the top producers throughout the season. A key product like Timber, as shown here, might be more competitive, but there are lots of more niche products in the game that most players have a shot at becoming a leading producer of.
Ranking and badges
Mercatorio is now introducing Top Rankings and Badges to honour both the scoreboard leaders and top producers in the various products. Throughout the season you will see the categories you have a top ranking in here, and at the end of the season your character will be awarded Badges for these achievements. Badges stay with your character throughout the seasons, such that you and others can look back on each-others past achievements.
Email export
To ensure no badges are lost, automatic character export has also been added, so make sure you sign up for this to receive your character’s .merc file at the end of the season.
